Here are some tips:
- Insure that you subject is well defined and in the middle of the frame with no parts of your subject cut off (eg. top of head, ears, etc)
- Upload a photo with a good resolution - typically any shot from a cell phone will do. Tiny images will have to be blown up to fit the area where the photo is placed and may produce a blurry image.
- Upload a photo with good lighting. Images that are too bright, too dark or have too much contrast will obsure details that our designers may or may not be able to recreate
- Upload the appropriate amount of faces per face selection. For example, if you select the option for one face, than upload a photo with only one face. If you upload multiple people then we would have to squeeze that into the area reserved for one face - that might shrink the image to the point where you won't be able to tell who the subject is
- Choose a contrasting color. If you upload a photo of a black dog, it would be best to choose a lighter color background so that you can see your dog.
